Alternatives that do not need your own Stripe account
Account independence, ownership and infrastructure are three different questions.
Three different ways to replace your account.
For a supported software product, investigate an MoR such as Paddle or Creem; for a directly contracted European processor, investigate Mollie in a supported merchant market. These solve different contractual needs. Checkout Page and Outseta still require your own Stripe setup, while an MoR can still use Stripe upstream.
Illustrative fee: 100 successful charges of $29 at an entered 5% + $0.50 cost $195, or 6.72% of $2,900. This arithmetic does not price all three products or establish their local eligibility.

Start with the account requirement
Outseta and Checkout Page require a Stripe account. Kit Commerce creates a managed Stripe Express setup. These products can improve selling workflows but do not automatically solve a merchant’s inability to qualify for the relevant Stripe account.

An MoR can support sellers through a payout configuration even when standalone Stripe Payments is unavailable locally. Polar documents Stripe processing and Stripe Connect payouts. “No personal Stripe account” does not mean “no Stripe in the stack.”
Ask what problem you are replacing
If you want a different owner, Lemon Squeezy’s Stripe ownership matters. If you want different underwriting, investigate the specific provider and product. If you need protection against an upstream outage, ask about documented processing redundancy rather than relying on a different logo.
